It will most likely work just fine. Bear in mind that the TR-1200 drives 4 channels (rather than the 2 needed for stereo), which essentially means that a lot of the considerable weight is wasted on amplification of channels that are rarely used.
So, if the Telefunken TR-1200 comes at the right price it may well be fine. But you can probably do better at the same price, if you find a 2-channel model
