Accuphase C-220

World beating phono preamplifier with two phono inputs. The input impedance of each input is separately adjustable to 100Ohm, 30kOhm, 47kOhm, or 100kOhm. The built-in switchable head-amp and the volume adjustable line stage are shared by both inputs. The line stage is optional as output can be taken before or after as required.

While the line stage IS very good the RIAA equaliser is the real star - it is simply wonderful.

The preamplifier was produced in two variants. The A version matches the P-20 and P-60 aesthetically and might be intended for the professional market.

In contrast, the B version matches the C-200, P-250 and P-300 aesthetically and was definitely intended for the consumer market.
