Have this CD player in very goid shape. I want to update inside to the latest DAC technology available. How?

You player uses 2 x Burr Brown pcm1792 DAC chips. It is a very common chip, that performs quite well. If it is at all possible to upgrade the DAC section of your player, it must be with a pin compatible BB chip. As far as I remember the pcm1792 is and SMD chip, which means that replacement is difficult in any case.

To be frank, I just do not think it is worth the trouble. For most players the analog filtering and amplification implemented after the DAC chip means a lot more for the resulting sound quality.
