If you look on the back you will see 4 pairs of ordinary loudspeaker binding posts. Two of them are marked 'From Receiver' and two are marked 'To loudspeakers'. Basically, you just do what the labels say and connect your receiver to the former and your speakers to the latter.

Afterwards you must adjust the crossover frequency and output level in order to match your speakers to the sub. There are two knobs for that.

Now that you have updated your question I will venture another answer:

No, you cannot make your speakers play without a receiver. You can connect them to the Heco, but nothing will come out of them unless you then attach a receiver to the Heco.
