JBL TR225

I have a pair of JBL TR225 speakers... new c.2001 but very little use. I believe they have Celestion speakers - not sure what the horns are. Using it recently so everything is still AOK. Just too big to lug around and more than I ever needed for most venues. Coupled with an 800W 8-channel Mackie amp and two sets of long speaker leads – what's a reasonable asking price?

One suggestion would be to use Hifishark for research. Search for each of the involved units, and take a good look at both the Active and the Sold/Expired listings.

That will give you a firm impression of the going for-sale prices of each unit. If you plan to offer a package of all units, then people will expect at least a 20% discount on the total price.

Thanks Maximus. I must be on the right track then. I did check here however for a similar setup there's quite a variance in price, I put down to different country/economy and perhaps different supply/demand ratio. Its helped me set a roughly comparative price, posted locally and got a bite within minutes.
