help, I need to update my onkyo tx amplifier nr 5000e I do not have the cd rom you can help me ..... thanks giuseppe

I am not sure that it is possible to update this unit. When I look in the manual it does say that you can find the versions of the currently installed software modules through the menu system. However, it also says that 'No procedure is provided
for updating the firmware'.
I am not 100% sure about this remarks meaning in the context that it is given, but I am not optimistic. I have added a link for the manuals above, so that you can check for yourself.
