I have changed belts but can’t get fast forward and back to work. Play works and the motor makes noise when ff and back activates but nothing happens. Electronic or mechanic failure?

Hi, it is mechanical. You have to change the idler, too. If you are lucky, cleaning and rough it a little is enough to make it work again. But I guess you made it work, little late my answer...
