CD player and DAC. Features GyrFalcon transport mechanism from DAISy. CD-only player (SACD requires MPS-5). Accepts digital signals: AES/EBU up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM, S/PDIF up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM, USB up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM (DXD) or DSD up to 6.1MHz. Balanced and unbalanced analog outputs. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and other USB sources. Firmware upgradeable. Can be converted to integrated player from MPD-3 with conversion kit.
