Selfoscilation of IC in ROTEL RA 1000 and RE 1010

I have vintage ROTEL RA 1000 with 8 band stereo EQ.
By time IC dedicated for one chanel (any of them, not specific ) start to produce high frequency sound with high volume (such high power which was burn one of tweeter.
Does have anyone such problem with RE 1010 (or RA 1000). It seems to me that this error is very often in EQ series 1000 or 1010
