Top-loading CD/SACD transport built around the proprietary THOR PRO optical engine — a 25 kg mechanism comprising 33 custom-machined parts in 9 materials, shaped by a three-year Finite Element Analysis program. Total chassis weight 60 kg with 620 mechanical parts. Built-in power supply uses dual custom 400 VA transformers with ultra-quiet multi-stage regulation. Supports connection to the Atlantis Reference DAC via the Akasa all-optical interface, which carries audio data, control, and clocking as light over a ≥2 m far-field galvanic isolation barrier using a 25-element CNC-machined connector and 10.17 ns sample-alignment protocol. Digital Waveform Control (DWC) manages output waveform shape while remaining bit-perfect. TcT (Tuneable-Clamp Technology) allows tonal optimisation via interchangeable disc clamp geometry without altering data. Conventional electrical outputs (S/PDIF RCA/BNC, AES/EBU) also provided. Scalable with optional external Atlantis Reference PSU connected via Akasa DC Reference cable.
